Hope Family Medicine

My family and I have been seeing April Collier for about 10 years. April is very caring, compassionate, and has a wealth of medical knowledge. Every time we have called and needed to be seen quickly, the staff has accommodated us within a reasonable amount of time with an appointment. We simply would not go anywhere else, and would highly recommend Hope Family Medicine to anyone. Heidi, Jamie, and April show great care and concern in meeting our medical needs. The office is conveniently located to work and home, and is always clean when we go there for an appointment. I cannot say enough good things about April and her staff. They have been great for us.

I am throwing my .02 cents in. I have been going to Hope Family Medicine since it opened its doors in 04-05. I had just moved to Nashville, & decided to find a local doctor. I now have moved to Columbia, and I still drive to her office every three months for my appts. I have Chronic medical problems, & have been to all the big specialists in all the big Universities, and I will tell you, good health care providers are extremely hard to find. To find a provider who listens to you, talks options with you, you telling the provider what ideas you have. With the two of you coming to a conclusion that both be satisfied with the possible outcome. April Collier may not be a doctor, but many doctors could learn a lot of things from this woman. I had lost all hope for the medical community until I found her. She is not one of those doctors that throws you a pile of scripts that will sedate you to the point where you have no idea whats going on. I know this because I went to doctors like this. April's main focus is to find what works for you without you being completely drugged out of your mind.

As far as the receptionist, I personally have never had any problems, in fact when I walk in she calls me by name. I always get an appt right after lunch, & I have yet in all the years going there for them to be a little late.

I would recommend this NP April Collier to anyone that needs top notch medical care. I will continue to drive from Columbia as long as she is in practice.




A VERY satisfied customer

I think Hope family Medicine is a great place with one drawback, the receptionist, Heidi. One day I tried and tried to call but didn't get an answer, finally I went to the office, after getting there I knew why no one answered the phone, the receptionist was on her cell phone arguing with someone about her husbands ex wife. I'm sorry but you don't need to sit in a place of business and discuss your husbands ex wife where Go and everybody can hear you. Heidi is very unprofessional and rude, after Heidi being so rude I almost walked out but i have to admit I'm glad i didn't. Once I was called back the nurse Jamie was very nice and acted like she cared about me and why I was there, then I saw a young lady by the name of Lauren and she to was great after seeing Lauren I had to get labs drawn and she(Felicia) was just as awesome. So I would with out a doubt recommend Hope family Medicine. Its a great place once you get past the receptionist. They are not all b*****s like she is.

So much for "hope" and "family." Two things that you will not experience when coming to this office. There are many reasons I will not go back to this office. 1. Customer Service: The receptionist is disrespectful and makes patients feel uncomfortable because of her lack of sensitivity and care on the phone and in person. 2. Every day the whole office breaks for lunch from 12-1pm. I was at doors at 1pm and waited until 1:30pm before someone came and unlocked the door. No apology, no sorry to keep you waiting. Though the doctor is credible and easy to talk with, her staff leaves patients feeling frustrated and upset. I will never go back to this office.
