Studio Gaven

I went for a few years and because the person who I usually went to was always so booked in advance I decided to go somewhere new. I changed my hair color and went really short. I got to a point where I wanted to red out and they said it could not be done right away and I would have to change gradually over many different visits. I called SG and saw Julie who changed it back in one visit and is alway so fast and sure of what she is doing. I have pretty dark hair and she gets it to the perfect blond every time! I love how she does my hair and will never go anywhere else.

I drove all the way from Destin, Florida to get my hair done at Studio Gaven! I love Studio Gaven. Dana Funk was the stylist who worked a miracle on my hair. My hair was about 4 different colors from one bad dye job to the next. Dana spent extra time and fixed what I thought would be a hopeless cause. She is amazing as well as all of the staff there. They are professional and the absolute best place I have ever gone to get my hair done. I am willing to drive 7 hrs one way to let them do my hair!!!!! Plus my husband said it is the best it has ever looked. No way will I ever go anywhere else!

Jason Kennedy is fantastic! After having my best friend cut and color my hair for almost ten years, I was unable to get back to Seattle and came to Studio Gaven last week to have my hair cut. WOW! Wow is what I have been telling myself and everyone that has commented on my haircut since I left your salon! Jason Kennedy was not only a fantastic stylist, but also full of compliments and had a wonderful spirit about him. Never have I felt so welcome in a salon and felt so taken care of as I did with Jason. I hope to call Jason my stylist, even though I live up near Washington, DC., I will plan my trips to Nashville accordingly.

I absolutely loved this place! The girl at the front was very nice. Jayson Morgan took great care of me before my special event. From start to finish the service was fantastic. It was nice to be treated like I was a VIP and not just another body walking in the door. I left with a fantastic color and wonderful cut! Thanks and I will be back with friends!

After being a customer of Studio Gaven for three years, I decided to find another salon. I was repeatedly dissatisfied with both my haircuts and highlights at this salon. My stylist did not listen to me at all. I even brought pictures. When I called to tell them I was unhappy, they said their policy was that if you did not call them within 10 days, you had to PAY to have them "fix" what they did to your hair. I told them I called four times and left messages, but no one ever called me back. They are over-priced and over-rated and have had a complete turnover in employees. Happy employees do not leave. That should tell you something. The management is extremely rude and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone and I will NEVER go back there again. They ruined my hair. Consider yourself warned.

I have very thin hair and have been to numerous salons in Tennessee and NEVER found someone that had the experience to handle my hair till I found Kim Lear at Studio Gavin. Her experience and knowledge of my hair type was right on. She gave me some ideas and I went with it knowing my hair was in her hands. I left the salon a "happy camper" and still going to her till this day. She is awesome and has the best personality. I highly recommend going and at least trying it out to see what the outcome will be cause you will be overwelmed. I will never go to another salon but to Studio Gavin.

I am super picky about my hair. It's pretty straight with just enough wave to p*ss me off. Amanda Muniz at Studio Gaven is a freakin' genius. Her haircuts are precise, modern and grow out beautifully. I get my hair cut about every 8-9 weeks and it looks great all the way through. I have tried other salons in Nashville and spent some serious dough trying to find a good stylist and Amanda is the ONE. I've been going to see her for about 2 years and she listens and adapts. I've had long hair and short. Trust me - she gets it.

I love the salon too. I've never had anyone be rude to me and the place is airy, bright and funky cool. They seem to spend alot of time and energy on education - sending their stylists to classes and such in NY and LA.

Highly recommended.
